At the moment these are only proposals and could change but as it stands among the Steelmen's opponents in Division One (South) are long time adversaries Spalding United and Stamford along with former Southern League rivals Alvechurch, Bedworth United, Leek Town and Gresley Rovers. Ilkeston Town were, of course, relegated along with ourselves at the end of last season while we have previously met Belper Town and, Newcastle Town in cup competitions.

Clubs that we will be playing for the first time in competitive first team fixtures are Basford United, Carlton Town, Chasetown, newly promoted Peterborough Sports and Cleethorpes Town, Kidsgrove Athletic, Lincoln United, Loughborough Dynamo, Market Drayton Town, Romulus, Stocksbridge Park Steels and the world's oldest football club Sheffield FC who were formed in 1857.

We will not, however, be facing AFC Rushden & Diamonds who have been switched to the Southern League Division One (Central).
