Update regarding the investigation from our FA Cup away fixture at Boston Utd.

Since joining the club in April 2019 I have been a promotor for education in the first instants in all matters brought to my attention, with this and after numerous conversations with our partners and board members, the person responsible was identified and spoken to at length about what happened and explained to why it is not acceptable in any walk of life, never mind football.

As a club, I am proud of the behavior and attitude from our supporters, both at home and away games.

Although this was an isolated incident I am sure it will not happen again. As stated previously, I believe in education and not the standard ban or exclusion in this first instance.

I am now satisfied that this case is closed and would like to thank you the supporters for the positive comments and appreciation in the way we were handling this rare incident.

We are looking forward to having you sing and support the team at home this Saturday and hopefully get the 3 points we deserve.

Thank you
Liam Warren
Safety Officer
