Steelmen back up to second in the table after this Northants derby.
Wellingborough started slowly as Corby pressed early but it was an easy call for the referee to point to the spot when Durrant brought down the attacker in the box on twelve. Solkhin scored calmly but it was level after Corby were awarded a penalty at the opposite end of the park on 37, the hand ball saw Bates walk before Fletcher Toll scored from 11 yards out, level at the break.
Corby stepped up a gear in the 2nd half, the doughboys happy to sit back and defend, but youngster Neo Dobson saw an opportunity, collecting the ball and scoring from 25 yards, low past Bodycote in goal. It was a proper derby, lost of yellow cards but it wasn’t until added time that Tendai Daire made it 3 and Corby take the spoils and bragging rights
