Shepshed Dynamo 0 Corby Town 1
It was a late goal but the game isn’t over until the final whistle.
Corby started with the intention of looking for goals, it nearly happened twice on 8 mins but the hosts scrambled to chances off the goal line. Danny Gordon was nearly there but his attempt was over the bar. Shepshed did little more than defend, goalless at the break.
The 2nd half started as the first had finished with the Steelmen taking the lions share of the possession, but it was a long ball over the top saw Toll over stretch and had to be replaced on the hour by Dobson. More good chances fell to Corby only for Dynamo to clear and they didn’t see a shot on goal until 64 minutes which pulled a great save out of Durrant. There was always going to be a lot of time added due to injuries throughout the game but it wasn’t until 90 minutes plus 9 that Corby’s long throw specialist Danny Gordon, sent a throw in, to the head of Tendai Daire to score. Talk about leaving it late!
