The visitors showed intent early on but Corby soon found their stride but wasted several good attempts, it was all square at the break.

The referee tried to keep the flow of the game going but missed so much shirt pulling. Corby again had chances but against the run of play Mickleover took the lead on 65 mins when sub Dyer, scored with a cross from the touchline. Corby then found it difficult to beat the defence and take anything from the game. Disappointment for the 724 in attendance.
