This is an outstanding opportunity to combine your studies with your football training

Corby Town Football Club are holding an open trial evening on Friday 30th June 2017 for boys and girls aged 16-18 who are looking to earn a place in September's full time academy sides.

This is an excellent way to take your first step towards becoming a professional or semi professional football player. In the last 2 seasons Corby Town FC have seen more than 10 academy players feature in the 1st team squad and now we are looking for the next local star to break through.... could that be you?

This is an outstanding opportunity to combine your studies with your football training as you will complete a college sports course alongside your training. This is all carried out on site at Steel Park Stadium, Monday-Friday and every Wednesday we play in the college national league competition.

The program is overseen by former Glasgow Rangers and Oxford United defender Steve Kinniburgh, who is the club's director of football and head coach of the academy sides.

Steve has many links and connections within the English Premier League, English Football League, and Scottish Premier League. In the past 12 months he has sent players for trials at teams including; AFC Bournemouth in the Premier league and Oxford United in the League 1.

If you think you have what it takes to break through at Corby Town FC or if you love football and want to play every day while doing you college sports course and competing in the college national league testing yourself against some of the best college players in the country then this course is perfect for you.

The trial evening will take place between 6-7.30pm on Friday 30th June at Steel Park.
