Corby played 60 minutes controlling the game in Leicestershire following at 24-minute goal from Matt Slinn, which put them ahead at the break but once Loughborough levelled on the hour mark, their tails were up.
Corby could have killed the game off with two great attempts toward the end of the first half, one from Toll the other inches wide from Marshall but it was not to be.
The students took the lead on 73 thanks to Salsby, before a third was added in injury time by Strouts to make the score line slightly flattering to the hosts.
