Corby Town head to the Oval tonight to take on Bedworth United for the first time since January 1st, 2018!
The Steelmen will be in high spirits following Saturdays win at Steel Park against early pace setters AFC Dunstable.
The 2-0 victory, coupled with Halesowen's 2-0 defeat against Welwyn Garden City, means there are no more teams in the Division One Central with a 100% record!
Saturdays win came courtesy of 2 penalties from Stephen Diggin to preserve Corbys 100% start at Steel Park!
Opposition
Bedworth United come into this match with a Nelson across the board. 1 draw with St Neots to begin the campaign, 1 defeat at Barton Rovers and 1 win this past Saturday away at Thame United. The Greenbacks exited the FA Cup last Monday following a 3-1 replay defeat to local rivals Halesowen.
LAST TIME WE MET
The Steelmen last took a trip to the Oval in August, 2017. Corby came undone thanks to a penalty by Levi Rowley and a tap in late on by Iyesden Christie to fall to a 2-0 defeat!
The return fixture at Steel Park took place on New Years day and Bedworth again picked up all 3 points, this time a goal after 3 minutes proved to be enough for the visitors to go home happy.
