Colney Heath are the current Hertfordshire Charity Shield holders and will be looking to match their best run in the FA Cup, a record they set 2 seasons ago. They play in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division and reached this stage of the competition with a fine 2-0 home win against Eastern Counties League Premier Division Long Melford.

A 4-0 win against London Lions in the FA Vase this past weekend saw the Magpies set a modern day record of 18 games undefeated going back to early March, and also makes it 11 wins in a row since a 1-1 draw v Cockfosters on 13th April

HOW THEY GOT HERE

Colney Heath entered in the Extra Preliminary round and travelled to Haverhill Rovers. Goals from Jack Woods and Sam Dolan gave them a convincing 2-0 lead the the break before Woods, Fitzgerald, Clements and Blunden sealed a 6-1 win and a home clash with Long Melford.

This time it was a goal in each half from Spencer Clarke-Mardel that sealed the 2-0 victory and a home clash with the Steelmen!

STATS CENTRE

For the 2nd year running, Corby have made an identical start of 4 wins and 2 draws after 6 games! The 7th game of last campaign was the Emirates FA Cup clash with Hertford Town, which Corby won 2-0!
AFC Dunstable were unable to finish the clash at Steel Park with 11 men for the 2nd game in a row!
Saturday saw the 3rd clean sheet of the season for Dan George after 5 games, equaling the number of clean sheets kept throughout the 2017/18 season!
