The Steelmen head to Halesowen, a large market town in the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley, in the county of West Midlands, for our next BetVictor Southern League Division One Central clash.
The Steelmen go into the clash on the back of a fine 3-1 away win against Colney Heath, a victory that sent Corby through to the Emirates FA Cup Second Qualifying Round!
Goals from Stephen Diggin (2) and John Dean gave the Steelmen their second win on the road this season and maintained our unbeaten start to the 2019/20 season.
Opposition
Halesowen Town are no strangers to the Steelmen, we have clashed numerous times over recent years in the Southern Premier League.
The Yeltz ran out 7-1 winners last time out in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round against Lichfield City. They currently sit 6th in the table with 3 wins and a draw from their 4 league games.
The Yeltz also competed in the Southern League Cup this midweek, running out 1-0 winners against Stratford Town thanks to a first half goal from Luke Yates
Last Time We Met
The two sides last met in 2016, the first game at The Grove finished 1-1 with Callum Ball heading in the Steelmens goal, before a Friday evening clash at Steel Park saw both teams again go home with a point following a 0-0 draw!
