Craig will be a familiar face to many in the town, having ran the Cardigan Arms for many years, turning the pub in to one of the go to places in the town.

Craig hopes he can do the same with the Steel Bar Venue.

"I am excited by the opportunity to become manager of the Steel Bar. As a supporter of the football club, it is my aim to return the bar back to a football club house that fans of the club and people of the town can be proud of.

To do this, I would like to ask any fans if you could donate any Corby Town memrobilia that we can put around the walls of the bar to give it that homely feeling for fans. This will still be your possession, we just want to showcase everything Corby Town.

I will also be starting the Find the Joker at the next home game. There will be a 50/50 split between prize money and money for the club. The money made from this will go to essential needs for the bar, the first one I am looking to sort is the heating in the bar as we head towards the winter months.

The Joker draw will be made at 7.30pm after each Saturday home match, with the winner getting £20 a chance to find the joker.

When I run this at the Cardigan, the jackpot hit £17k so you never know how much you could ultimately win.

I am also looking at getting in hard plastic glasses to replace the ones currently in use. These will have the Corby Town logo, a deposit will be paid for the glass, fans can either keep this or bring back and get their deposit back.

This is the first step towards reverting back to using glasses in the clubhouse until 2.30pm, after this hard plastic glasses will be in operation until full time of the Corby match.
