Was great to see Robbie getting involved with the training although we are sure Robbie is better in the air than with his feet. Needless to say Robbie didn't quite cut the mustard and will definitely be keeping to his day job in entertaining and growing the reputation of Corby Town FC and what a fun place it is to both watch and play football.

Robbie's inquisitive and playful nature certainly upset the training regime in place for the evening however we at Corby Town FC always believe that the first rule in football is to have fun and boy did the girls and Robbie have fun at training.

Corby Town U10 Girls are a new side and have been training for just under 1 month and it was great to see the girls mixing well together and gelling through antics that Robbie pulled during training.

The girls play their first ever match at home to Kettering FC U10's at Oakley Vale Community Centre on the 7th September 10.30am Kick Off and get their league campaign started on the 14th September away to Rushden & Diamonds U10's. Would be great to see fans up at Oakley Vale supporting our future starlets.

We all at Corby Town FC wish the girls well in their first season and if you wish to keep up with their progress then match reports will be posted on a regular basis.
