Corby Town are pleased to announce the signing of defender Scott Floyd from Spalding United FC.

Right sided player Floyd has been at Spalding throughout his career, progressing from the under 21s to the first team in 2018.

The gaffer was pleased to get another signing across the line:

“Scott is another player I tracked over the summer. My sides have come up against Scott regularly over the last 4 years at Spalding and he is someone who has always stood out to me. He is very comfortable in a number of positions and gives us great versatility. He is agressive in the tackle and has good quality on the ball in wide areas. He is a good age but also has vast experience at this level and will slot in straight away needing little time to adapt.

I always say, before anything else, I look for good attitudes in a player, and with Scott we have that. He has come to this club for all the right reasons and we are delighted to have him.
