Spencer played 41 games last season for Hinckley, helping them secure a 4th place finish in the league and despite their efforts, narrowly losing in the playoff semi-final to Harborough Town FC on penalties. Spencer’s consistent and solid performances have made him a standout player and we are excited to welcome him to the squad.

Manager Gary Setchell shared his views on Edwards arrival explaining “Signing Spencer is a significant boost for us. His experience at this level and defensive ability was a major part of Hinckley making the playoffs last season. He will be key as we aim for success this season."

Spencer has also previously played for Harborough Town FC and Aylestone Park, bringing experience from his time at these clubs and his qualities as a player makes him a perfect fit for The Steelmen.
