The Fans Forum, The Socials and Membership

This is an important message for the fans

Hi

Following last nights game at Steel Park, catching up with the media team and seeing a message on the Fans Facebook page this morning I am posting this to offer as much info to the fans as I can.

Firstly, Membership to the website. I have processed all the requests to join the Pitchero site, there were a few requested from team coaches and club members of the youth teams. Apologies fro the delay.

I have posted out the interview with Gary from last nights game. I hope you can listen in, if there are any issues with access to the interview, please let me know.

To make all the fans aware, nobody from the media team was available to attend the Fans Forum that was held recently, it was organized on one of busy days of the summer but having heard some of the gripes, and happy to accept some of the responsibility, but I would like to made it clear what is available to all the fans to engage and interact with their club, but in some respects believe we may have not have given you, the supporters, information in where to find what is published and what is available to enrich the experience of the Corby Town Fan.

We do use all of the following the website, the CTFC facebook page, (we don't ordinarily post to the B&W Army page as this is a fans account), X (twitter), Instagram (posts, stories and reels, we don't have the capacity to film live), Bluesky, YouTube (with Corby Town TV) and TikTok, posting out regularly on all platforms. If you are not using these methods of social media, please don't make comments about not being aware what is happening at the club, all the information is in the public eye.

On match days you will find posts to all or at least most of these accounts.
Latest updates from games is found on X (twitter).
Team sheets, Half Time and Full time scores are Instagram, CTFC Facebook page, and X (twitter)
A audio of the team news is found on SoundCloud, via a link on twitter, its also broadcast by Corby Radio and BBC Northampton. This is also where you will find audio of half time and Full time reports and the post match interview with the manager. A link is also available from the website. If the interview is filmed it will be across all SM channels.
A printed team sheet is also available to purchase at Steel Park for home game and the match day programme, that is full of interesting facts and history of the clubs involved and previous match reports is available, but numbers are limited.

You can also visit Football Web Pages online for score updates, goal scorers and details on the league and updated table.

There is also the podcast ! Unique to Corby Town and broadcast on the YouTube channel, if you look for it online please like, subscribe and hit the notification button !

As for content for all of this Social Media, programme, podcasts, match highlights, photographs, its collected by a very small, busy and passionate group of people that will always need support.

So with that said, yes we can improve, make things look better, keep content fresh and support the needs of the fans. You you have to let us know what you need too. This process works both ways.

We are all Corby ! We are all volunteers.

Frankly the social media we offer is better that any other team in our league and more that most of the teams above us.

I hope this appraisal of how to keep in contact with Corby Town is useful to some of you that were maybe unaware as to how much we do, to keep you all in the loop.

Enjoy the new season

Chuck
