With no league game Saturday CorbyTown U13 played a home friendly against Leicester Foxes - before the game Pete Clark Of OIS Oakley presented the team with warm up tops and Subs Coats.
Leicester were fielding a mixed U13 and U14 team, Corby coped well With the oppositions physicality and put some good passages of passing position together. Corby deservedly finished the first half 3-1 ahead. During the second period Leicester had a good spell of pressure but Corby defended well and caught the opposition on the break a number of times and took a 5-1 lead. Leicester reduced arrears to get back to 5-3 but Corby regained the upper hand winning the game 7-4.
