Del made his competetive debut for the Steelmen from the bench, replacing Paul Malone at Half Time in a 3-1 opening day win away at Halifax and made the most of his chance, becoming a vital member of the team that managed to hold their own in the Conference North, despite the turmoil that was happening around the club.

Delroy left at the end of the season to join Conference Premier side Nuneaton Town, and enjoyed a 2 and a half year spell at the club before leaving them to join Hereford Utd. Since then Gordon has appeared for local sides AFC Rushden and Diamonds and Stamford AFC, while most recently turning out for Bedworth United in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division Central.

The defender will go straight into the squad for Saturdays home match with Kempston Rovers and everyone at the club would like to welcome him back to Steel Park!
