Corby raced into the lead within the first minute with Rebekah Jones unleashing a thunderous strike from distance.
Corby doubled their lead with another long range effort from Jones that found the top corner.
Loughborough were able to find 2 goals in the last 10 minutes but sandwiched in between was a strike by Corby top scorer Zoe Watkins that ensured Corby clinched their first home win of the season.
The Steelwomen will be delighted to secure that long awaited victory and will look to end a disappointing season with another win when they travel away to Loughborough for the season’s curtain closer on Sunday 19th May.
