Corby Town U11’s v ICA Sports U11’s

Today our U11 girls played a well drilled ICA Sports side.

Corby started slowly and ICA really did come on strong. Corby remained resolute and defended well and put their body’s on the line. Corby started to grow into the game and by half time the scores remained level. Corby managed to limit ICA to a handful of chances and managed to ensure there were no clear cut chances.

After a couple of changes in shape at half time it was a different Corby Town in the second half, Corby came out strong and attacked ICA. Corby’s passing and transitional play was excellent. Corby had a number of clear cut chances but were just unfortunate not to get that all important goal.

Final score was 0-0 and on reflection was a fair result. Considering last seasons game the progression was clear to see. Well done girls keep up the good work.
