Corby Town Girls U12’s v Roade Revolution U12 Girls

Corby got back to winning ways today in what was always going to be a difficult encounter. With a few absences and players playing out of position the formation was changed to try and suit the players available today.

The girls started nervously as they got to grips with their positions but soon got into their stride and again today we watched the team dominate possession. With some great balls across the box and some great build up play at times. Hitting the post in the first half the team were unlucky to be 0-0 at half time. Second half the girls went up the extra gear again with some great play scored 3 goals. Our defence today was strong and full credit to Roade did give us scares at times and never gave up the whole game.

Special mentions to leading goal scorer Tilly for playing in defence most of the game and to Hallie who was awesome in defence and really protected the keeper and was fully deserved player of the match.

Well done girls another good win in difficult circumstances. Let’s build on the momentum and we go again next week. Final score 3-0 to Corby
