The NFL are thinking about introducing a 70s section to their Walking Football league so John Cowie arranged a friendly against Moulton Masters 70s which would be backed up by John producing a U Tube video of the match, camaraderie and after match refreshments with both teams socialising at the West Glebe Pavilion.
The match was played over four 15 minute periods with the final score 3-3.
Goals for Corby Alan Revie (1) John Shelton (1) and Terry Woodgate (1)
The match was played although competitive in good nature allowing the referee to let the game flow.
Moulton will now host the return at there place in the near future.
As this was Corby first run out playing 70s against a team that take part in Lincs & Oxon leagues are guys should be proud of their performances today.
