Clifton joins Corby

Clifton began his career with Aston Villa before moving to Brackley Town, where he won the Southern League Premier Division.

A move to Oxford City followed before Kettering Town and then Liberty Way. James rejoined Brackley in 2017 before injury hit spells at Boston and Alfreton followed. in August, Clifton rejoined Nuneaton.

Playing on the right side of defence or midfield, Clifton is a versatile player that can also feature in the middle of the pitch, and has scored 6 goals in 33 appearances for the Southern League Premier Division Central side this season.
