"In my opinion, without being disrespectful to others, I feel Jay is up there with the best keepers in this division. At 6 foot 7 and with his frame, he really is a giant but he's got every other attribute a keeper needs and for me, should be playing a much higher level. I always feel that with Jay in the side, you've always got a chance. He's had a lot of interest this summer but he is excited to come to Corby and play in front of some big crowds at this level which will kick him on another gear. Jay has had a couple of stop/start seasons but I know that a full season at his best and we certainly have a major asset between the sticks. Corby supporters will love his character and I'm sure he'll quickly become a fans favourite"
