A Northampton Town Scholar, Bucci signed for Peterborough Sports midway through the 2015/2016 season and was an ever present. This continued through 2016/17 campaign, winning the UCL Premier division. After taking a year away due to work commitments, Dan returned in the summer of 2018 and regained his place back into the team.

Scored a penalty at Steel Park that season which helped PSL to the league title and then spent last season dual registered with Spalding United.

The gaffer have his thoughts on his next new signing:

"I targeted Dan as one of my first signings when I got to the club. Having watched him on a number of occasions last year, he was a player I really wanted to bring in. In many conversations with Dan spanning several weeks, his character matched what I thought of him as a player and it made it a no brainer to secure his signature. He has got plenty of experience at step 3 with Peterborough Sports but also played many games at step 4. He is a rock solid full back who can play on either side and is a calm head under pressure who also has plenty of quality on the ball. Like many of the players I've targeted and signed, he is another player at a good age that brings a lot of experience at this level whilst still being hungry to progress and improve.
