Last nights FA Youth Cup clash at Basford United was abandoned at half time due to an incident on the terraces amongst some locals.

We can report that nobody from Corby was involved in the situation and all players, staff and supporters are thankfully safe.

As this is now in the hands of the authorities, we will be making no further comment at this time.
