Corby Town FC is seeking a committed and organised individual to join our football administration team as Football Secretary. This is a key role within the club, ensuring that all administrative duties are carried out efficiently and in full compliance with the rules and regulations of the Northern Premier League and The Football Association.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Administration and Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for correspondence with the Northern Premier League, Northamptonshire FA, and other relevant organisations.
- Distribute league and FA communications to coaching staff, management, and committee members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of club activities, including player registrations, membership details, and official documentation.
Governance and Compliance:
- Manage the club’s affiliation with the County FA and relevant leagues.
- Ensure Corby Town FC operates in full compliance with league rules and FA regulations.
- Oversee player registrations and ensure all required documentation is submitted correctly and on time.
- Handle disciplinary matters and liaise with the league and FA where necessary.
Matchday Duties:
- Attend first team home and away fixtures to complete team sheets and update the league’s matchday system.
- Compile teamsheets for media and for the club shop to sell.
Club Representation:
- Attend mid-season and end-of-season AGMs as required.
About You:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and able to attend the majority of first team fixtures (home and away).
- Based locally to Corby or surrounding areas.
- Willing to learn – full training will be provided.
