It was a steady first half, both teams battled and the host were unlucky not to have gone in ahead at the break but Corby had held on without a training session during the week.

The second half saw more chances and again the hosts should have taken the lead with a shot on an open goal but failed to hit the target. Jordan Crawford was close twice but it was the sub Freddie Allen who found the net on 75 mins, beating the keeper from 8 yards out . The last 15 mins were nervous, and 6 mins added saw many subs but Corby hold on, take 3 points and keep a clean sheet. A huge bounce back from last week.
