Strange way to open the season but Corby were ahead after 20 mins, Lewis Wilson with the goal that took the Steelmen into the break ahead of FC Peterborough's first ever FA Cup game.

The second half saw the Steelmen gift a goal to the green army Yisah the scorer, but that gave Corby the impetus to take control and go on a scoring rampage. Goals from captain Jordon Crawford, two one from the spot, Theo Brabham, Carter Widdowson, and a brace of worldies from Matteo Perkins put Corby in the bag for the next round.
