Welcome to Steel Park, Jordan Macloed

A very talented attacking player. Jordan is an ex Peterborough united schoolboy. At home either upfront or wide, Jordan has great technical ability and a turn of pace. Scoring 14 goals in Sports maiden season at step 4, Jordan left for the USA in the April 2018 before returning early 2019.

Macloed spent time at AFC R&D before rejoining PLS and featuring for Sports and Spalding last term on a dual registration.

We caught up with manager Lee Attenborough to hear his thoughts on the new signing.

"I'm chuffed we've managed to get Jordan in from Peterborough Sports. I said when I took this job that a club like Corby should be attracting some of the best players in the division and I believe in Jordan, we have that. He scored 19 goals for Spalding last season and also scored important goals later in the season after his move to PSL including the winner in the Cup Final against Rushden and Diamonds.

Having said that, his game is about much more than goals. He's tricky, can go both ways and is good with both feet. He's quick, got good energy and attacks spaces well, never giving defenders a minute. He will give us good options on the ball but aggression off it which is exactly what you need to have in this league. Welcome to the club Jordan!"
