Corby Town FC are delighted to announce the signing of Rory McAuley. Rory was the captain of Step 2 club Peterborough Sports last season capturing multiple man of the match performances for his side.

He had spells on loan with Chelmsford City and Dartford, moving to the latter in a permanent basis in the summer of 2014 having made 145 appearances for the U's.

He made 52 appearances for Dartford, scoring 3 goals in the 2014/15 season and then moved on to Chelmsford, scoring once in 51 appearances.

He joined Lowestoft, in June 2016 and made 81 appearances for the Trawlerboys scoring 6 goals.

He made 49 appearances for Lynn in 2018/19, scoring 7 goals, helping them to promotion as Southern Premier Central play-off winners and then helped them to promotion from the National League North the following season.

Corby Town manager Gary Setchell told his club`s website: "Completing this is a marque signing for the club. Rory played 17 games in the National League only last season and won the National League North the year before. Having worked together previously, he hopefully will be one of the missing ingredients we have been looking for.

“He is a quality player, who is more than capable of playing at a higher level. Hopefully he will help us to go to the next level too.
