Graham Drury's side travelled to fourth-placed Nuneaton looking to continue their recent improvement following a 2–0 victory over Mickleover and Saturday's goalless draw against Shepshed Dynamo.
The hosts started brightly, creating an early opportunity inside the opening two minutes, but their effort drifted wide of the target.
Corby responded positively, with a promising move in the 15th minute. A well-placed long ball from Downs found Boothe on the edge of the penalty area, who knocked the ball into the path of Amir Ward, only for the Nuneaton goalkeeper to react quickly and smother the danger.
The Steelmen were temporarily reduced to ten men midway through the first half when Ward left the pitch with the referee's permission, returning shortly afterwards as both sides continued to battle for an opening.
With neither team able to break the deadlock, the sides went into the interval level at 0–0.
Drury introduced Tristen Thomas in place of Ward at half-time, with the second period beginning as evenly as the first.
Further changes followed on the hour mark as Wiktor Gromek replaced Jordon Crawford, with Corby continuing their efforts to find a breakthrough.
Despite the determination shown by both teams, neither side could find the decisive goal, and the contest finished goalless.
The result sees Corby extend their unbeaten run to three matches, collecting five points from a possible nine and recording three consecutive clean sheets.
Another encouraging defensive display provides a solid foundation for Drury and his players as they continue their efforts to climb the Northern Premier League Midlands Division table.
Next Up: The Steelmen return to league action on Saturday 7 November with another away fixture against Coleshill Town, kicking off at 3pm.
