Corby Hellenic Raiders Under 11s were formed last summer as a development team — created to give opportunities to players who had started their football journey later and may have struggled to find a team.

In less than a year, the progress has been nothing short of remarkable.

From absolute ground zero, this group has developed into a competitive and determined squad, now holding their own in a league full of well-established teams. Week by week, they continue to grow in confidence, ability and belief. The attitude of every single player has been outstanding — hard work, commitment and zero complaints. They simply want to improve.

The team is proudly captained by the incredibly talented Phoebe Haggar, with Ciaran McLoughlin serving as Vice Captain.

The coaching team is led by Carl Bindley and Demos Flouri, with the team proudly managed by club sponsor Ben Emery.

What the Raiders have achieved this season deserves real admiration. They started with no history, no foundation — just belief and work ethic. As the season has progressed, they have flourished into a serious and organised outfit.

Tonight, the team are incredibly excited to be at Corby Town and extremely grateful for the opportunity. It’s another step forward in what has already been a fantastic journey.
