Lee Attenborough wants to introduce his team and give you an update on his first week on charge!

After a whirlwind first week in charge, I wanted to pen a message to fans just to update you all on a couple of things. First of all, I wanted to introduce my management team that I have brought to the club, who will add immense value and professionalism and help us achieve our collective ambitions. I've built a management team that has a variety of different skills to make sure we have all bases covered.

Tom Hayes- Assistant Manager
Tom is a real asset to the club and I am delighted to bring him in as my assistant. He has worked with me previously at Loughborough Dynamo but has since been away and managed very successfully himself at step 5 with Leicester Nirvana, making consistent progress there. He is a UEFA A license coach and is also Head of Mens Football at Nottingham University. Previously a scholar at Walsall FC, he also played a good level of football. Tom is very professional in his approach, pays a lot of attention to detail and has an excellent track record of developing players.

Steve Venables- Joint Assistant
'Venners' is someone who has worked with me for the past 2 seasons. He's been involved in non league football for a long time and knows the leagues really well. He has previous management experience but also holds various goalkeeping and outfield coaching badges which we will be making good use of. He is always very popular amongst the playing squad and builds good relationships with supporters. A positive character who provides an all round good influence.

Matt Wain- Performance Coach
'Wainy' is another real valuable asset to the club. He has previously coached and managed at Coventry University and holds a UEFA B license. He will be working alongside Tom and Steve to plan training sessions from his match analysis based on game recordings. He will also be handling and working with fitness data which we can put to good use. Wainy will be heavily involved in 1 to 1 discussions and sessions with players to help improve performance and fitness levels and putting together fitness plans. He also works with injured players who are making their transition back to full level fitness.

On top of the management team, I also wanted to give a brief squad update. As you will have seen, some players have left the club as we aim to go in a different direction. There are some players from last season who we will also be offering deals to that I believe are part of the clubs future. We have already moved on several key signings and have agreements in place with a number of exciting players. Due to registration not officially being open yet, we will wait to announce these, however, rest assured that recruitment so far has been really positive and there are still a couple more in the pipeline. In the meantime, I just ask for your trust and patience until we can announce them.

Lastly, I would just like to thank everybody at the club for giving us all such a warm welcome- it was great to meet the volunteers on Monday night. Likewise, I'd like to thank personally some of the fans who have already been in touch to wish us their best and offer their continued support. We are working hard to make sure this club moves in the right direction.
